KAWAI RX-7 SEMI-CONCERT GRAND PIANO

An important part of the long-successful Kawai RX Series grand piano line introduced in 1995, the RX-7 Semi-Concert Grand was known for its extraordinary performance qualities and exquisite touch and tone. It featured our Ultra-Responsive Action with ABS Styran parts that was a major advancement over the conventional all-wooden actions offered by other piano companies.

By 2013, Kawai had taken another major step forward in piano touch with the Millennium III Grand Action found in the GX BLAK Performance Series Grand Pianos. The RX-7 was replaced by the GX-7 BLAK Semi-Concert Grand that featured this new action with Carbon Fiber action parts. Carbon fiber parts provide a faster keystroke and greater consistency of touch for heightened performance and artistry.
